Cheese are responsible for making every event a memorable celebration by preparing party areas, taking orders, attending to guests, and ensuring the birthday child has an exceptional experience. The compensation for Party Hosts includes competitive pay ranging from $13.75 to $14.75 hourly, plus commission potential. Commission earnings vary depending on the Membership and Fun Pass sales, rewarding motivated employees. Additionally, Chuck E. Cheese offers a "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, allowing employees to access their earnings promptly, enhancing financial flexibility.
Employment benefits include a 50% discount on meals during shifts, flexible scheduling, scholarships, perks and discounts programs, an employee referral program, and the CEC Cares Fund, which supports employees facing hardships. Paid sick leave is provided, accruing at one hour per 30 hours worked, along with voluntary part-time benefits. Party Hosts must be at least 15 years old and possess excellent customer service skills, along with an energetic and enthusiastic personality.
This role requires physical activity, including lifting objects up to 50 pounds and the ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, walk, and squat during shifts. The work environment features flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises, requiring the ability to manage stress and interact effectively with guests and co-workers.
