With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment boasts a robust presence in the family restaurant and entertainment industry. \n\nAs a company, CEC Entertainment puts a strong emphasis on diversity, inclusion, and culture, fostering a work environment that reflects the diverse backgrounds and perspectives of its employees and customers. The company is committed to creating safe, welcoming places where kids and families can enjoy memorable experiences. Party Hosts play a central role in energizing events by preparing party areas, setting up tables, managing orders, attending to guests, and ensuring that each birthday celebration is special and enjoyable for everyone involved, especially the birthday child. This position is ideal for first-time job seekers or individuals looking to build a dynamic career within a company that values internal promotion, with more than 60 percent of their managers having been promoted from within the organization. \n\nEmployment at CEC Entertainment comes with enticing commission opportunities. Exempt employees can earn commissions ranging from $0.50 to $10.00 for each membership sold and from $0.15 to $3.00 for each Fun Pass sold, with payments issued bi-weekly unless state law dictates otherwise. Non-exempt employees have commission potential starting from $2.00 up to $8.00 for memberships and from $0.60 to $2.40 for Fun Passes. The company's "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program is a distinctive benefit that allows employees to receive pay without having to wait for the traditional bi-weekly paycheck, providing flexible and timely financial support. \n\nParty Hosts are expected to have an energetic and enthusiastic personality and excellent customer service skills, as they contribute directly to the guest experience by handling various responsibilities that require physical activity such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, and squatting during shifts. Employees must be able to work various shifts and thrive in environments with loud noises, flickering lights, and moving parts. The company is also committed to accommodating individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions effectively. \n\nWorking at CEC Entertainment also means enjoying a comprehensive benefits package that includes competitive pay, a 50 percent meal discount during shifts, flexible schedules, scholarship opportunities, participation in perks and discounts programs, an employee referral program, and access to the CEC Cares Fund designed to assist employees during catastrophic events. Medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan are also offered to eligible U.S. employees.
