Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, proudly operating iconic brands such as Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment is dedicated to creating joyful and lasting memories for families and communities through fun, food, and play. The company celebrates over half a million birthdays annually at Chuck E. Cheese locations, providing a safe, welcoming environment where kids can truly be kids. CEC has a strong commitment to safety, innovation, and community support, as evidenced by programs like Kid Check® and charitable donations exceeding $24 million to schools and nonprofits. Recognized for industry leadership in both employee well-being and innovation, Chuck E. Cheese earned the "Best in STEM" award and was named one of America's Greatest Workplaces in 2025. Beyond providing quality food and entertainment, the company fosters a culture of diversity and inclusion, bringing families together every day through engaging experiences that support physical wellness and motor skill development for children.
Now hiring Party Hosts, CEC Entertainment offers an exciting role tailored for energetic individuals passionate about creating memorable celebrations. As a Party Host, you will be responsible for making every event at Chuck E. Cheese a high-energy, fun-filled experience. This role involves preparing party areas by setting up tables, taking orders, attending to guests, and ensuring that the birthday child and their guests have an unforgettable time. This position is ideal for first-time job seekers or those looking to build a career in a dynamic, family-focused environment. Party Hosts benefit from cross-training opportunities that empower them to provide exceptional customer service while developing a broad skill set. With a commitment to promoting from within—more than 60% of managers have advanced their careers starting as Cast Members—CEC Entertainment supports career growth and employee development.
The compensation package includes a competitive pay structure with a unique commission program: exempt employees can earn between $0.50 to $10.00 in commission for each membership sold and between $0.15 to $3.00 for each Fun Pass sold, paid bi-weekly, with adjustments made as required by state laws. Non-exempt employees have commission potential from $2.00 to $8.00 per membership sold and $0.60 to $2.40 per Fun Pass sold. Additionally, the company offers the "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, ensuring employees don't have to wait between paychecks for their earnings. Other benefits include a 50% discount on meals during shifts, flexible schedules, scholarship opportunities, perks and discounts programs, and an employee referral program. The CEC Cares Fund is also available to assist employees facing hardships due to catastrophes.
Party Hosts are expected to maintain a safe, clean, and inviting atmosphere while managing the physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing/pulling, walking, and squatting during shifts. The work environment includes exposure to flashing lights, mechanical parts, and loud noises, and employees must be able to handle job-related stress effectively while interacting positively with guests and coworkers. CEC Entertainment is committed to accommodating individuals with disabilities, ensuring equitable access to all employees. The company is an Equal Opportunity Employer, dedicated to fostering a workforce reflective of the diverse backgrounds and perspectives of the communities it serves. This role is perfect for those enthusiastic about hospitality, customer service, and becoming part of a company that values fun, family, and community engagement.
