The role of Party Host at Chuck E. Cheese is an energetic position perfect for first-time job seekers or those looking to build an exciting career. Party Hosts play a crucial role in making every event memorable by setting up party areas, handling orders, attending to guests, and ensuring the birthday child enjoys the celebration. The company empowers its Cast Members to provide outstanding service by cross-training in various positions, with over 60% of managers promoted from within. Chuck E. Cheese also offers a "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program to help employees get paid promptly without waiting between paychecks.

Pay varies depending on the exemption status: exempt employees can earn commissions ranging from $0.50 to $10 for each membership sold and $0.15 to $3 for each Fun Pass sold; non-exempt employees earn commissions from $2 to $8 for each membership and $0.60 to $2.40 for each Fun Pass, with payments made bi-weekly unless state law requires otherwise. Benefits include competitive pay, a 50% discount on meals during shifts, flexible schedules, scholarships, perks and discounts programs, an employee referral program, and the CEC Cares Fund that assists employees in times of catastrophe.

Candidates for the Party Host position must be at least 15 years old, able to work various shifts, and demonstrate excellent customer service skills along with an energetic and enthusiastic personality. The physical demands of the job include lifting or carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, and squatting during shifts. The work environment involves flashing and flickering lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises. Safety and health are a top priority at Chuck E.
