Now hiring for the Party Host position at Chuck E. Cheese – a role integral to making every party event exciting and memorable. The Party Host is tasked with preparing the party area, including setting up tables, taking orders, attending to guests, and ensuring the birthday child has an exceptional experience. This position is ideal for first-time job seekers or those seeking to build a career in a fun, family-oriented environment. Employees, known as Cast Members, benefit from empowerment through cross-training in various roles, with over 60% of managers promoted from within. The position offers a "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, enabling employees to receive immediate payment instead of waiting for the usual payroll cycle.
Compensation varies depending on employment status. Exempt employees may earn commissions ranging from $0.50 to $10.00 on each membership sold and $0.15 to $3.00 on each Fun Pass sold, with payment bi-weekly (subject to state law). Non-exempt employees have commission potential from $2.00 to $8.00 for each membership and $0.60 to $2.40 for each Fun Pass sold, also paid bi-weekly. Benefits provided include flexible scheduling, competitive pay, 50% meal discounts during shifts, scholarships, perks and discount programs, employee referral bonuses, and the CEC Cares Fund to assist employees during catastrophes.
Working as a Party Host involves physical activities such as lifting or carrying objects up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, walking, and squatting during shifts. The environment features flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises, requiring the ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with guests and coworkers. CEC Entertainment is dedicated to maintaining rigorous health and sanitation standards, complying with or exceeding local requirements to protect both employees and guests. Reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities are available to enable them to perform essential functions effectively. The company prioritizes diversity and inclusion, ensuring equal employment opportunity without discrimination based on race, gender, age, disability, and other protected statuses.
