CEC Entertainment's Peter Piper Pizza complements this experience by providing a neighborhood pizzeria atmosphere with quality food and engaging entertainment, emphasizing fun as an integral part of every visit. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, the company fosters a diverse, inclusive culture that brings families and communities together through play, food, and memorable experiences.
Now hiring Party Hosts, CEC Entertainment offers an exciting opportunity to be part of this dynamic team. Party Hosts play a pivotal role in ensuring that every celebration at Chuck E. Cheese is unforgettable by preparing party areas, setting up tables, taking orders, attending to guests, and making sure the birthday child enjoys a fantastic experience. This role is ideal for first-time job seekers or individuals seeking a vibrant workplace where they can build long-lasting careers. Cast Members at Chuck E. Cheese are empowered through comprehensive cross-training across various positions to provide the best service possible. In fact, over 60% of the company's managers have advanced their careers by being promoted from within.
The position offers competitive pay and commission potential, with exempt employees earning from $0.50 to $10.00 per Membership sold and $0.15 to $3.00 per Fun Pass sold, while non-exempt employees can earn from $2.00 to $8.00 per Membership and $0.60 to $2.40 per Fun Pass. Commissions are paid bi-weekly, ensuring timely compensation for efforts. In addition, the company offers the innovative "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, which allows employees to access their earnings immediately, alleviating the wait between paychecks.
Beyond compensation, Chuck E. Cheese provides a comprehensive range of benefits and perks tailored to support employees’ well-being and growth. These include a 50% discount on meals during shifts, flexible scheduling to accommodate various needs, scholarships to promote continued education, referral programs, and the CEC Cares Fund aimed at assisting employees during times of crisis. The role also comes with training and career development opportunities, designed to foster professional advancement within the organization.
The Party Host position requires physical capability to lift or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds and involves activities such as standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, and squatting during shifts. The work environment is lively and dynamic, featuring flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises, making it a setting full of energy and excitement. It also requires excellent customer service skills and an energetic, enthusiastic personality to create a memorable experience for every guest.
CEC Entertainment takes pride in its commitment to health and safety, maintaining rigorous health and sanitation standards that exceed local requirements to protect both guests and employees.
