Job Description

The Bay Club Company (TBCC) is a prestigious organization committed to delivering outstanding recreational and social experiences to its members and guests. Renowned for its dedication to hospitality, TBCC operates a variety of clubs, resorts, and recreational facilities that emphasize a culture of respect, responsibility, and community engagement. The company prides itself on fostering a unique culture known as its "Code of Culture," which guides all employees through a set of values and behaviors including respect for the past, accountability, teamwork, and an unwavering commitment to service excellence. TBCC values inclusivity and equal employment opportunities, ensuring a supportive and welcoming work environment for all individuals regardless of background or personal characteristics. The company also emphasizes proactive thinking, humility, hard work, and open communication, striving to create a team atmosphere where every employee can thrive and contribute meaningfully.

TBCC is currently seeking enthusiastic and personable Party Hosts to join their team. This is a part-time position offering competitive hourly compensation ranging from $17.66 to $20.66. Party Hosts play a vital role in creating memorable celebration experiences for families by providing friendly and engaging service during parties. The primary responsibility of this role is to set a joyful and welcoming tone by leading children through fun, pre-arranged activities while allowing parents to relax and enjoy the event. Party Hosts greet guests upon arrival, assist with necessary paperwork such as waivers, explain party rules and policies, and ensure each party runs smoothly and on schedule. In addition to managing activities, Party Hosts serve food, beverages, and cake while attentively overseeing party gifts and personal belongings to guarantee nothing is misplaced.

This position demands excellent communication skills, both written and oral, along with problem-solving abilities to promptly address any issues that arise to maintain a consistently excellent guest experience. Ideal candidates are team players who exhibit patience, reliability, organization, and a polymath of enthusiasm to go the extra mile in service delivery. While previous customer service experience is preferred, it is not mandatory, as on-the-job training is provided. A valid Food Handler's Permit is required to ensure compliance with food safety standards. Working conditions are dynamic, requiring candidates to adapt to varying scenarios such as interacting with different personalities, managing unforeseen challenges calmly, and handling frequent changes in a fast-paced environment. This role involves some physical activity including standing, sitting as needed, and direct interaction with residents and clients through various communication channels like in-person conversations, telephone, and email.

Joining TBCC as a Party Host means becoming part of a company that prioritizes respectful and forward-thinking service culture. The company encourages employees to be curious, ask questions, and take ownership of their responsibilities. TBCC supports a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork, where every person’s contribution is valued. If you are someone motivated to make celebrations extraordinary and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, this role offers a rewarding career opportunity. TBCC also provides equal employment opportunities to all applicants, fostering diversity and inclusion across its workforce. We look forward to welcoming new Party Hosts who embody our core values and are ready to deliver exceptional experiences to our guests.
