We are currently hiring enthusiastic and responsible individuals for the role of Event Coordinator/Party Host. This position is essential in ensuring that party and group events at Ocean Breeze Waterpark unfold smoothly and memorably. The Event Coordinator/Party Host will be responsible for managing all day-of-event details, from setup to guest interaction and cleanup. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a friendly and approachable attitude, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.

As an Event Coordinator/Party Host, you will prepare event areas by ensuring cleanliness, appropriate seating arrangements, and that all necessary materials, food, and beverages are ready and presented appropriately. You will greet and interact with guests in a courteous and age-appropriate manner, ensuring their experience is comfortable and enjoyable. You will manage the timing of events to ensure all scheduled activities such as arrivals, food service, cake presentations, and departures occur on schedule and without issue.

Your responsibilities also include assisting with the distribution of food, drinks, and birthday cake while adhering to strict safety and hygiene standards. Guest safety, particularly that of children, is paramount, and you will monitor adherence to safety rules and address any concerns promptly and professionally. Effective communication with team members will be crucial to coordinate efforts and guarantee seamless event execution. Client requests, questions, and any minor complaints must be handled with professionalism, escalating issues as necessary.

Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized event area throughout and following the event is a key aspect of this role. This includes setting up before events and performing breakdowns afterward. Superior customer service skills are essential as you will often be the first point of contact for questions about Ocean Breeze Waterpark, including information about facility layout and available amenities. Adherence to all park policies and procedures is mandatory to uphold the park’s reputation and operational standards.

This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working outdoors in an active role, interacting with diverse groups, and providing exceptional service. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided. Ocean Breeze Waterpark offers flexible schedules that cater to your needs, making it an ideal summer employment opportunity or part-time job. Compensation starts at $14 per hour, with additional perks such as a free season pass, free tickets for friends and family, and park discounts on food and merchandise. Moreover, eligible team members can benefit from a retention bonus of up to $500 based on hours worked and continued employment through a specified period.
