This creates a dynamic and hands-on position where employees interact regularly with customers and team members, promoting the company’s brand promises and commitment to quality.

The role requires diligent attention to the cleanliness and safety of the event and store areas, fostering a welcoming and safe atmosphere for customers and staff. Effective communication skills are essential, as the Events Coordinator liaises with clients, team members, and management to tailor events based on feedback and preferences. They are responsible for administrative functions including managing correspondence, documenting event details, and adjusting plans as necessary to meet client satisfaction.

Michaels invests in the wellbeing of its employees by offering comprehensive benefits for both full-time and part-time team members. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, tuition assistance, and significant employee discounts. The company values diversity and inclusion, making reasonable accommodations to support individuals with disabilities and creating a supportive work environment for all.

Overall, the Events Coordinator at Michaels combines operational proficiency, creative engagement, and outstanding customer service to contribute to Michaels’ reputation as the best place for all things creative.
