This part-time role based in the Abilene, TX store focuses on planning, coordinating, and facilitating events such as children’s birthday parties and craft classes designed to provide a fun, stress-free, and memorable experience for customers of all ages. The Event Coordinator brings energy, enthusiasm, and creativity to all events, ensuring customer satisfaction and smooth operations. The role requires interaction with guests ranging from young children to seniors, leading craft projects, face painting, and organizing additional party elements like goody bags and balloons. The Coordinator also completes various administrative tasks related to events, manages store cleanliness and safety standards before and after activities, and supports other merchandising tasks and customer service duties within the store.

In addition to event coordination, this role includes helping customers shop and locate products, providing quick and friendly checkout experiences, enrolling customers in rewards programs, and supporting omnichannel retail processes such as Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS). The role demands physical activity such as standing for long periods, lifting boxes, reaching high shelves, and maintaining an active presence throughout the store.

Job Duties
