Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in retail or customer service roles
- experience working with children preferred
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks including lifting and bending
- ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- willingness to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
- ability to follow company policies and maintain safety and cleanliness standards
- legal eligibility to work in the United States

- Experience in retail or customer service
- experience working with children and children’s events
- strong communication skills including written, verbal, and nonverbal
- excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- creative problem-solving abilities
- energetic and enthusiastic personality
- ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with diverse groups
- cross-training in custom framing preferred
- knowledge of standard operating procedures and company programs
Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- engage guests of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
- demonstrate and instruct craft projects and perform face painting
- facilitate party add-ons like goody bags and balloons
- communicate event details with clients and store team members
- complete administrative tasks such as answering emails and making phone calls
- uphold cleanliness and safety standards and manage event setup and breakdown
- assist customers with shopping and product location
- provide fast and friendly checkout
- promote and enroll customers in rewards programs and credit cards
- participate in operational tasks such as truck unloading, stocking, and merchandise recovery
- support shrink and safety programs
- adhere to company policies and standard operating procedures
- maintain positive and respectful interactions with customers and team members
- participate in store cleanliness activities
