As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing multiple parties and craft events simultaneously, ensuring smooth operations through detailed planning and enthusiastic participation. This includes hands-on activities like face painting and craft project instruction, alongside administrative duties such as communicating with clients and store team members, managing paperwork, and adjusting plans to meet customer needs.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior retail or customer service experience required
- Experience working with children and children’s events
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks including lifting and reaching
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and early mornings
- Must comply with federal, state, and local legal job requirements
- Ability to perform administrative and operational duties
- Must be able to engage customers positively and respectfully
- Physical capability to work in a retail store environment including outdoor tasks when needed
Job Qualifications
- Experience in retail or customer service
- Experience working with children and children's events

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- Engage guests of all ages by creating fun and creative environments
- Demonstrate and instruct craft projects and party activities including face painting
- Facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards
- Communicate effectively with clients and store team members
- Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails, making phone calls, and paperwork
- Adjust event plans based on client feedback and create contingency plans
- Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards before, during, and after events
- Assist customers with product location and provide solutions
- Provide fast and friendly checkout experiences
- Promote rewards programs and handle enrollments
- Support omni-channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store
- Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and merchandise recovery
- Adhere to company policies and safety programs
- Maintain store cleanliness including sweeping, vacuuming, and restroom upkeep
- Cross trained in custom framing selling and production
- Perform other duties as assigned
