Job Description

FIFA World Cup 26 is set to be a monumental event in the history of global sports, as it will be the first World Cup to feature 48 teams and be jointly hosted by three countries: Canada, Mexico, and the United States. This unprecedented format not only elevates the scope and scale of the tournament but also promises to engage fans and players across North America and around the world in ways never seen before. At FIFA26, the vision is to unite the globe through the greatest sporting event of all time, creating an extraordinary and unforgettable experience that transcends borders and brings diverse communities together under the shared passion for football.

The FIFA World Cup 26 initiative is a massive logistical and operational undertaking that requires meticulous planning, collaboration, and management of numerous stakeholders to ensure a seamless execution. The event aims to set new standards of excellence in sports event management, incorporating innovation, inclusivity, and sustainability at every stage. Whether you are a sports professional, an operational expert, or someone passionate about creating memorable experiences, joining the workforce behind FIFA26 means becoming a game changer in the world of sports events.

We are currently seeking a Food and Beverage (F&B) Coordinator to join our team, reporting to the Tournament Headquarters and Food and Beverage Managers. Key responsibilities include managing service delivery according to the F&B Concessions Operational Plan, overseeing the allocation of staff and product stock units (SKUs), implementing pricing strategies, and ensuring adherence to alcohol policies and sponsorship activation guidelines. Coordination on match days is critical, involving operational oversight, quality control, and monitoring customer service standards to provide an exceptional attendee experience.

Beyond operational duties, the F&B Coordinator acts as a communication bridge between local concessionaires, commercial partners, and the FIFA central team, facilitating smooth information flow and effective collaboration. They also support administrative functions and assist the Commercial Rights Delivery Team to achieve objectives related to FIFA Partnerships.

Candidates should embody core competencies outlined in the FIFA World Cup 26 Skills Framework, including accountability, decision-making, inclusivity, initiative, innovation, leadership, and strategic vision. This role demands resilience, attention to detail, flexibility, and a results-driven mindset. Proficiency in English is essential, and knowledge of Spanish and/or French is advantageous. Familiarity with MS Office applications and collaborative platforms is also required.

FIFA26 is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. We promote a workplace free from discrimination and welcome candidates of all backgrounds to apply. Joining the FIFA World Cup 26 team means being part of an elite group dedicated to producing the world’s most prestigious football tournament, creating a legacy that will inspire generations to come.

If you are passionate about food and beverage management and want to contribute to delivering an unparalleled global sports event, this is your chance to shine.
