As the largest operator of apartments in the United States, Greystar manages more than one million units and beds worldwide, showcasing its expansive reach and expertise in the residential rental real estate business. Founded by Bob Faith in 1993, the company has grown tremendously, now managing and operating over $300 billion in real estate assets globally, with approximately $79 billion in assets under management across its platforms, including significant development and regulatory assets. Greystar is committed to delivering world-class service and creating vibrant communities for its residents.
This particular role involves organizing, coordinating, and implementing various resident services and programs while acting as a vital source of information and support to residents concerning local market resources. The position is designed to enhance the resident experience by greeting prospects and residents, facilitating communication within the community office, and ensuring the smooth operation of amenities and services offered. Responsibilities include managing guest suite schedules, coordinating move-in and move-out logistics, overseeing package deliveries, maintaining tracking systems for equipment rentals and other community services, and assisting in planning resident activities and events. Additionally, the role requires maintaining detailed knowledge of local businesses, restaurants, and vendors to provide helpful recommendations and build strong relationships with service providers.
Candidates must be comfortable with physical tasks such as standing or sitting for extended periods and performing lifts up to 25 pounds independently or 50 pounds with assistance, as well as working in various weather conditions. The position may require flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional travel to support other properties or attend training and business meetings. Compensation varies based on several factors including experience, location, and performance, with eligibility for bonuses and benefits such as a 401(k) plan with company match for part-time employees, paid sick time, and an employee assistance program. Greystar emphasizes a secure and professional hiring process, cautioning applicants against fraudulent solicitations and ensuring communication only through official company channels.
