The role of Van Delivery Driver at Gordon Food Service Store LLC involves conducting courteous, punctual, and accurate deliveries of products along a variable daily route. This role demands professionalism and a strong commitment to safety, as drivers operate vans while demonstrating attention to detail and adhering to safe work practices. In addition to fulfilling delivery duties, the Van Delivery Driver also supports store operations before or after the completion of their delivery route. This dynamic position requires the ability to locate and pick orders accurately within the store for wholesale customers, maintain strong customer relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction through timely and accurate deliveries of Gordon Food Service products.

Beyond deliveries, the Van Delivery Driver is actively engaged in in-store tasks including processing customer purchases efficiently via the point of sale system, securing assets such as cash and merchandise according to company policies, receiving and merchandising products, ensuring proper rotation to maintain product quality, executing end cap and planogram displays, and organizing stock in freezer, cooler, and backroom areas. Daily pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment are vital responsibilities to uphold vehicle safety and operational readiness.
