Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Clean driving record with no drug or alcohol offenses in the last five years
- Successful completion of pre-employment checks including drug screen, criminal background check, and motor vehicle report
- Ability to operate a van safely and professionally
- Ability to lift heavy items and use a two-wheel cart
- Availability to work Monday through Saturday with some Sunday hours
- Willingness to assist with store operations before or after delivery routes
Job Qualifications
- At least one year of previous delivery driving experience
- One year of customer service or related field experience preferred
- Unrestricted standard operator's license
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
- Ability to use a two-wheel cart with loads up to 350 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and safe work habits
- Good communication and customer service skills
Job Duties
- Accurately locate and pick orders in-store for wholesale customers
- Build and maintain good customer relationships
- Deliver GFS products accurately and timely
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspection of vehicle and equipment
- Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently through the point of sale
- Ensure security of cash, checks, and merchandise by following policies
- Receive and merchandise products ensuring proper rotation and product quality
- Maintain store organization including end caps, planograms, top stock, freezer, cooler, and backroom
