Job Description
Valet Living is a prominent service company specializing in enhancing apartment community living through cleanliness and customer-focused services. With a strong commitment to providing a welcoming and pristine environment for residents, Valet Living stands out by offering unique residential waste solutions that emphasize convenience, safety, and professionalism. As an established employer in the part-time job market, Valet Living offers flexible, rewarding opportunities for individuals looking to earn extra income while staying physically active. The company is well-regarded for its supportive work culture, opportunity for growth, and dedication to diversity and inclusion.
The position available is for Part-time Trash Collectors, also known as Service Valets, who play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and order of apartment communities. This role involves collecting trash and recycling bags placed by residents at their doorsteps and transporting them to the on-site trash compactor. Importantly, this job does not require dealing with heavy bulk items, driving off-site, or handling dumping responsibilities, making it a focused and manageable task for part-time workers.
Employees in this role will utilize a mobile app on their smartphones to log important service details such as arrival and departure times, tracking of duties, and photographic evidence of compliance or non-compliance. This integration of technology ensures efficiency, accountability, and ease of reporting during shifts. Physically, the job is active and hands-on, requiring workers to walk throughout the property, climb stairs frequently, and perform duties outdoors in various weather conditions.
Working primarily evening shifts from Sunday through Thursday, starting at either 7:00 or 8:00 PM, this role offers 10 to 15 plus hours per week, making it an ideal option for individuals seeking additional income alongside other commitments. The pay rate ranges from $15 to $19 per hour, providing a competitive wage that rewards the effort and dedication of service valets. Valet Living strives to assign workers to locations close to their homes whenever possible, adding convenience and reducing commute times.
Valet Living values hard work, reliability, and community impact, offering benefits such as DailyPay for quick access to earnings, referral bonuses, career advancement opportunities, and safety equipment including gloves and vests. They promote an inclusive workplace grounded in equal opportunity principles, welcoming diverse applicants and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities.
Overall, this part-time Trash Collector position is perfect for those who want to stay active, contribute positively to their community, and earn a reliable income on a flexible schedule. The job supports individuals who enjoy working outdoors, using technology, and being part of a well-organized, supportive team dedicated to high standards of service and community care.
