Job Description
Valet Living is a reputable company dedicated to maintaining the cleanliness and appeal of apartment communities across various regions. Known for its commitment to high-quality service and community care, Valet Living operates as a service provider specializing in trash collection and valet services tailored to residential apartment complexes. Their focus is on creating an inviting environment for residents while emphasizing reliability and responsibility in their operations. Valet Living values diversity and inclusion in the workplace, promoting an equal opportunity employment culture that supports veterans, individuals with disabilities, and people from a variety of backgrounds. This inclusive ethos is reflected in their employment practices and community engagement.
The role of a part-time Trash Collector, also referred to as a Service Valet, is crucial in the company's operations. This position is designed for individuals seeking part-time employment that involves physical activity and community service. Trash Collectors play an important role in keeping apartment communities clean and welcoming by collecting trash and recycling materials from residents' doorsteps. Utilizing a personal open-bed pickup truck or vehicle with a trailer, employees transport collected waste to on-site compactors. This position requires no heavy lifting of bulk items, no off-site driving, and no dumping outside the community. Service Valets use a company mobile app on their smartphones to log service details such as arrival, departure, and compliance photos, making the job efficient and tech-integrated.
The job offers an excellent opportunity for those looking for evening shifts with typically Sunday through Thursday schedules. Employees earn up to $21 per hour, working around 10 to 15 hours per week, making it an ideal side job or supplementary income source. Additionally, Valet Living places emphasis on close-to-home assignments, aiming to assign staff to locations near their residences. This reduces commute times and increases convenience for employees. The position is physically demanding, involving walking long distances, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Valet Living prioritizes safety by providing necessary gear such as gloves and vests, ensuring that employees are protected while performing their duties.
This part-time role is not just about trash collection; it is an opportunity to stay active, earn extra income, and be part of a dedicated team that values support, reliability, and growth. Employees have access to fast pay options through DailyPay, allowing them to access earnings promptly. There are also opportunities for career advancement into leadership roles for those interested in growing within the company. Referral bonuses incentivize employees to bring in new team members, further enhancing the company culture and community engagement. If you are looking for a rewarding job that balances physical activity, community contribution, and flexible scheduling, becoming a part-time Service Valet with Valet Living could be the perfect fit.
