Currently, Valet Living is hiring part-time Trash Collectors, also known as Service Valets, who play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of apartment communities. This role is designed for individuals seeking active, physically engaging part-time work that integrates well within their schedules, particularly in the evening hours. Candidates will be responsible for collecting trash and recycling bags directly from residents' doorsteps within assigned apartment communities and transporting these materials to onsite compactors using their own personal vehicle, which must be either an open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle capable of hauling a trailer.

This unique position excludes heavy lifting of bulk items and does not require offsite driving or responsible for waste dumping, allowing employees to focus on community stewardship and hands-on service. Service Valets will use a mobile application on their smartphones to document service details in real-time, including timestamps for arrival and departure, visual tracking of trash collection, and reporting non-compliant bags or issues faced during their shifts.

This role is tailored to meet various physical requirements; it involves extensive walking across the property, climbing stairs regularly, and working outdoors regardless of weather conditions. Valet Living values safety and provides necessary protective gear such as gloves and vests.
