Valet Living is currently seeking part-time Trash Collectors, also known as Service Valets, to join their dynamic team. This important role is designed for individuals who desire a job that keeps them moving, allows them to earn extra income, and provides an active, hands-on working experience. The position involves collecting trash and recycling bags from residents' doorsteps within various apartment communities and transporting them to on-site trash compactors using a personal vehicle, specifically an open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle capable of hauling a trailer. This opportunity suits those who prefer a physically engaging role without the need for heavy lifting of bulk items, off-site driving, or dumping responsibilities. Equipped with the company's mobile app for smartphones, Service Valets will record service details, including arrival and departure times, tracking metrics, and photos that document compliance and service quality.

This position is part-time, offering approximately 10-15+ hours per week, with evening shifts typically scheduled Sunday through Thursday, starting between 7:00 and 8:00 PM. The hourly pay ranges from $17 to $20 per hour, making it an attractive option for individuals looking to supplement their income while working on a schedule that accommodates other life commitments. Valet Living aims to assign Service Valets to properties near their residences to minimize travel time and enhance convenience.

Candidates for this position must be at least 18 years old and have reliable transportation that meets the role’s specific requirements, including an open-bed pickup truck or vehicle with a trailer. A valid driver’s license and auto insurance listing the candidate as a covered driver are mandatory. Furthermore, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States, providing proof upon hire, and own a smartphone with a data plan to utilize the mobile app necessary for service logging.

The role demands physical stamina, including the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, walk long distances across apartment properties, climb stairs multiple times during a shift, and work outdoors in all types of weather. Comfort working around bagged trash and waste is also essential.
