Job Description

Valet Living is a leading service provider dedicated to enhancing apartment communities by ensuring they remain clean, welcoming, and well-maintained. With a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and community well-being, Valet Living offers innovative and reliable solutions that help apartment complexes manage their waste and maintain pristine surroundings. The company prides itself on creating employment opportunities that are flexible and rewarding, particularly for individuals seeking part-time roles that promote active lifestyles and allow for supplemental income. As part of its team, Valet Living fosters an environment that values reliability, hard work, safety, and community impact.

We are currently hiring part-time Trash Collectors, also known as Service Valets, to join our dynamic team. This position requires individuals to be actively engaged in their work, as the role involves walking throughout apartment complexes, climbing stairs, and performing duties outdoors in various weather conditions. The primary responsibility of the Service Valet is to collect trash and recycling bags from residents’ doorsteps within the community and transport them securely to an on-site trash compactor. This role does not involve heavy lifting of bulky items, off-site driving, or dumping, making it suitable for those looking for manageable physical work.

The Service Valet position offers an hourly pay starting at $19, with typical evening shifts scheduled from Sunday through Thursday, beginning between 7:00 and 8:00 PM. The work commitment involves approximately 10 to 15 hours per week, making it an ideal opportunity for individuals who need flexible hours or supplemental income. Moreover, Valet Living endeavors to assign Service Valets to properties near their residences to minimize commute times and enhance convenience.

Candidates must have a personal and reliable open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle capable of hauling a trailer, as this is essential for transporting collected trash and recyclables. A valid driver's license, auto insurance listing the employee as a covered driver, and authorization to work in the United States are mandatory requirements. Additionally, Service Valets will use the company’s mobile app on their smartphones to log service details, including arrival and departure times, route tracking, and photo documentation of non-compliance. Proficiency with smartphone apps and having a data plan are therefore necessary.

This position embraces physical activity, requiring the ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds, walk long distances, and navigate stairs regularly during shifts. Employees must be comfortable handling bagged trash and waste and prepared to work outdoors regardless of weather conditions. Valet Living prioritizes the safety of its staff by providing protective gloves, vests, and gear to ensure secure and efficient operations.

Joining Valet Living as a part-time Service Valet offers several compelling benefits. Employees enjoy staying active as part of their job, evening shifts that accommodate other daytime commitments, and quick access to earnings through the DailyPay system. There are also opportunities for career advancement into leadership roles, referral bonuses as incentives for recruiting new team members, and a team culture focused on support and community contribution. Valet Living is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and inclusion, promoting an environment free from discrimination based on any protected status. Individuals interested in a part-time role that combines physical activity, community impact, and flexibility are encouraged to apply and become part of this dedicated team.
