This position is for part-time Trash Collectors, also known as Service Valets, who play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and appeal of residential apartment complexes. The role requires individuals who are physically active, dependable, and able to operate with personal transportation such as an open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle with a trailer, which is essential for hauling and transporting trash and recycling bags within the community. The position is designed to provide an opportunity for extra income, particularly suited for those seeking flexible evening shifts primarily scheduled from Sunday to Thursday starting at 7:00 or 8:00 PM.

Part-time Trash Collectors are responsible for collecting trash and recycling bags directly from residents’ doorsteps and transporting these to the on-site trash compactor. Importantly, this role does not require heavy lifting of bulk items, off-site driving, or dumping, making it a manageable yet engaging job for candidates. The job involves using a mobile app on a smartphone to log all service details such as arrival and departure times, tracking, and documentation through photos, ensuring accurate and efficient service communication.

Being outdoors and physically active is a fundamental part of this role, which includes extensive walking throughout the property, stair climbing, and working in varying weather conditions. Candidates must be comfortable handling bagged trash and waste while maintaining personal and community safety with provided protective equipment like gloves and vests.
