Part-Time Trash Collector - Evening Shift - Pickup Truck Required

We are currently seeking part-time Trash Collectors, also known as Service Valets, to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of apartment communities by collecting residents' trash and recycling. The position is physically active and involves walking the property, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions, providing the opportunity to stay active while earning extra income.

As a Trash Collector, you will be responsible for collecting trash and recycling bags directly from residents' doorsteps and transporting them to the on-site trash compactor using your personal open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle capable of hauling a trailer. No heavy lifting of bulk items, off-site driving, or dumping is required, making the job focused and manageable. You will use the company’s mobile app on your smartphone to document service details such as arrival and departure times, tracking, and any non-compliance photos, ensuring accurate and timely service reporting.

This is a part-time role, typically offering around 10 to 15 hours per week with evening shifts, usually Sunday through Thursday starting at 7:00 or 8:00 PM. The pay rate can be up to $21 per hour, providing a competitive opportunity for those looking to supplement their income. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and have reliable transportation, specifically an open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle with a trailer. Additionally, a valid driver’s license and auto insurance are required, with the applicant listed as a covered driver. Because the job uses a mobile app for logging services, applicants also need a smartphone with a data plan. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, walk long distances, climb stairs repeatedly during a shift, and be comfortable working around bagged trash. Working outdoors in all weather conditions is expected.
