Job Description

Valet Living is a leading service provider specializing in maintaining cleanliness and enhancing the living experience within residential apartment communities. Established with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service, Valet Living prides itself on fostering clean, welcoming, and well-maintained environments for residents. The company operates across multiple locations, offering a variety of part-time and full-time employment opportunities with flexible scheduling to accommodate employees' diverse lifestyles and commitments. Valet Living's core values emphasize reliability, community engagement, and environmentally responsible practices, making it a preferred employer for individuals seeking meaningful work in the property services sector.

The role of a Part-Time Trash Collector, also known as a Service Valet, is a physically active position that plays a vital part in maintaining the cleanliness and appeal of apartment communities serviced by Valet Living. This position involves collecting trash and recycling bags directly from residents' doorsteps and transporting them to the on-site trash compactor using a personal open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle equipped with a trailer. Importantly, this role does not require heavy lifting of bulk items, off-site driving, or dumping, making it a manageable and straightforward opportunity for individuals looking to stay active while earning additional income.

Working primarily on evening shifts from Sunday through Thursday, starting at 7:00 or 8:00 PM, this part-time position offers flexibility with approximately 10 to 15+ hours per week. Employees typically receive assignments close to their home, reducing commute time and enhancing job convenience. The job demands a good level of physical fitness as it requires walking long distances, climbing stairs multiple times, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Candidates must also possess a smartphone with a data plan to utilize Valet Living's proprietary mobile app for logging service details, including arrival and departure times, tracking, and documenting non-compliance via photographs.

At Valet Living, safety is a top priority; employees are provided with the necessary gear such as gloves and safety vests to ensure a secure working environment. Compensation is competitive, with pay rates up to $22 per hour, and workers benefit from features like DailyPay, which allows quick access to earned wages. Furthermore, Valet Living supports career advancement with opportunities to move into leadership roles within the company. Referral bonuses provide additional earning potential for employees who recruit others to the team.

This position suits individuals who value staying physically active while contributing to their community's well-being. It is ideal for those seeking evening work schedules, especially individuals aiming to supplement their income without committing to full-time hours. Valet Living’s inclusive and accommodating workplace culture values diversity and supports employees with disabilities by providing reasonable accommodations during the recruitment process and employment. Applying to join Valet Living's team means becoming part of a company dedicated to professional growth, community impact, and employee satisfaction.
