We are currently seeking responsible and energetic individuals for the role of part-time Trash Collector (Service Valet). The role centers around collecting trash and recycling bags from residents’ doorsteps within apartment communities and transporting them to on-site trash compactors. Unlike traditional waste management roles, this job does not involve heavy lifting of bulk items or off-site driving and dumping, making it a manageable physical activity suitable for those who enjoy staying active and working outdoors. This position requires the use of a personal open-bed pickup truck or vehicle hauling a trailer, which is essential for completing the duties efficiently.

Trash Collectors utilize a company mobile app on their smartphones to log important service information, such as arrival and departure times, tracking details, and photographic evidence of service adherence or non-compliance. The job involves walking extensively on property, climbing stairs, and working in various weather conditions, offering an excellent combination of physical activity and fresh air.

This role is part-time, averaging 8-10 hours per week, with evening shifts generally scheduled from Sunday through Thursday, starting at 7:00 PM or 8:00 PM. Valet Living prioritizes placing employees in communities near their homes wherever possible to minimize commute times and maximize convenience. Pay rates vary by position, with drivers receiving $18 per hour and helpers earning $16 per hour.
