Job Description
Valet Living is a reputable company that specializes in providing essential services to apartment communities, focusing on maintaining cleanliness and enhancing the living experience for residents. As a well-established service provider in the property management industry, Valet Living employs dedicated individuals who take pride in their work and contribute to the upkeep of neighborhood environments. The company's operations revolve around supporting residential complexes through reliable and efficient trash and recycling collection services, establishing a professional and positive impact on community living standards. Valet Living promotes a culture of respect, diversity, and inclusion, firmly standing behind equal employment opportunities and accommodating individuals with disabilities throughout the hiring process. They are committed to ensuring a safe and supportive working atmosphere that fosters career growth and values the contributions of every team member.
The role of a part-time Trash Collector, also known as a Service Valet, at Valet Living is designed for individuals seeking flexible employment opportunities that offer physical activity and competitive hourly pay. Trash Collectors play a vital role in preserving the cleanliness and warmth of apartment communities by efficiently collecting trash and recycling bags from residents' doorsteps and transporting them to designated on-site compactors. This hands-on, physically engaging position requires walking throughout the property, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in diverse weather conditions, which suits individuals who prefer active work environments over sedentary jobs.
In this position, employees must have a personal and reliable open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle capable of hauling a trailer to transport collected waste securely. The work schedule is primarily in the evening, typically from Sunday to Thursday, with shift start times around 7:00 or 8:00 PM. Part-time hours average between 10 to 15 hours per week, making this opportunity ideal for those looking to supplement their income with manageable and convenient work hours. Employees use the company’s mobile app on their smartphones to accurately log service details, including arrivals, departures, and capturing photos for tracking and compliance purposes. With no heavy lifting of bulk items, off-site driving, or dumping required, the job focuses on manageable, localized tasks.
Employees benefit from a supportive and motivating work environment that emphasizes safety by providing necessary protective equipment like gloves and vests. The company also offers appealing incentives such as quick access to daily earnings through the DailyPay system, referral bonuses for recommending new hires, and the possibility for advancement into leadership roles. Those seeking to maintain an active lifestyle while earning extra income during evening hours will find this role especially rewarding. Valet Living’s commitment to maintaining a respectful workplace and offering meaningful employment opportunities makes it not only a job but a chance to be part of a team dedicated to improving community living environments.
