Job Description
Valet Living is a leading provider of premium community services specifically tailored for apartment communities across the United States. Established with a mission to enhance the quality of residents' lives and maintain the cleanliness and appeal of residential properties, Valet Living has earned its reputation as a trusted partner in property management. The company is known for delivering innovative solutions that focus on convenience, professionalism, and excellent customer service. As a diverse and inclusive employer, Valet Living values teamwork, respect, and the unique strengths that every employee brings to the workplace. Employees are part of a culture that promotes career growth, community impact, and work-life balance.
We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team as part-time Trash Collectors, also called Service Valets. This role is designed for those looking for a physically active, hands-on position that offers flexible evening hours and a chance to earn extra income. The primary responsibility is to collect trash and recycling bags from residents within an apartment community, using a personal, reliable open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle capable of hauling a trailer. This job does not require handling bulky items, driving to off-site locations, or dumping waste, making it a focused and manageable role for part-time work.
Typical work hours are Sunday through Thursday evenings, beginning around 7:00 or 8:00 PM, fitting well with individuals seeking supplemental earnings outside of daytime commitments. Pay is competitive, with rates up to $21 per hour, providing a rewarding opportunity for effort and reliability. The assignments are typically close to the employee's home, reducing commute time and adding convenience.
The position involves physically demanding tasks including walking long distances, climbing stairs repeatedly, and performing duties outdoors across different weather conditions. Safety is a priority, with the company providing necessary protective equipment such as gloves, vests, and safety gear. Employees use a dedicated mobile app to log service activities, including arrival and departure times as well as photographic documentation, combining technology with daily operational duties.
Valet Living not only focuses on immediate job responsibilities but also offers pathways for career advancement, including the possibility of stepping into leadership roles. Employees enjoy benefits such as daily pay options through Fast Pay, the chance to earn referral bonuses by bringing others into the team, and a supportive work environment that prioritizes employee health and safety.
By joining Valet Living as a part-time Trash Collector, individuals become part of a committed team that values reliability, hard work, and community impact, contributing to maintaining clean, appealing apartment communities that residents appreciate. This role is ideal for those who appreciate staying active while working and desire evening shifts that fit around other life goals or daytime jobs.
