Job Description

Valet Living is a reputable company dedicated to maintaining clean, welcoming apartment communities by providing essential trash collection services. Specializing in environmental upkeep for residential properties, Valet Living offers innovative and community-focused solutions that improve the living experience for residents. Their commitment to quality service and community engagement makes them a leader in the property service industry. The company prides itself on fostering an inclusive work environment where employees are valued and encouraged to grow professionally. As an Equal Opportunity Employer, Valet Living actively promotes diversity and fairness throughout its hiring and employment practices, ensuring an equitable workplace for all. They support employees by providing necessary accommodations and maintaining open communication channels for a smooth recruitment process. This position is part-time, offering flexibility and competitive hourly pay ranging from $22 to $25, making it an attractive option for those seeking supplemental income without a full-time commitment.

The role of a part-time Trash Collector, also known as a Service Valet, at Valet Living involves hands-on responsibilities that are crucial to maintaining the cleanliness and curb appeal of apartment communities. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy staying active and being outdoors, as it requires walking the property, climbing stairs, and working in various weather conditions. Trash Collectors are responsible for collecting trash and recycling bags directly from residents’ doorsteps and transporting them to the on-site compactor. This role does not involve heavy lifting of bulk trash items, off-site driving, or dump site visits, making it accessible and manageable for many workers.

In addition to manual tasks, the position incorporates the use of technology via a mobile app on the employee’s smartphone to log service details, track progress, and provide photographic evidence of non-compliance. This blend of physical activity and technology use ensures that service standards are maintained and that management has accurate data to support community cleanliness. The part-time nature of this job includes evening shifts, typically from Sunday through Thursday, starting at 7:00 or 8:00 PM, with hours averaging around 10 to 15+ per week. Valet Living prioritizes convenience for employees by assigning them to properties close to their homes whenever possible.

This role offers several benefits beyond competitive pay, including a flexible schedule suitable for those balancing other commitments. Employees also enjoy access to DailyPay for fast payment of earnings, career growth opportunities through potential leadership roles, and referral bonuses for recommending new team members. Safety is a key priority, with the company providing gloves, safety vests, and other gear to protect workers during their duties. The work environment supports individuals who take pride in reliability and community service, making this a fulfilling position for the right candidate. Overall, this job allows individuals to earn extra income in a socially impactful role while maintaining an active, engaging work routine.
