Valet Living is currently hiring part-time Trash Collectors, also referred to as Service Valets, to support apartment communities by ensuring cleanliness and proper waste management. This role is ideal for individuals seeking a physically active job that offers a flexible evening schedule, which is perfect for supplementing income without interfering with daytime commitments. The position offers up to $25 per hour and typically involves working six hours per week during evening shifts, primarily from Sunday through Thursday starting between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM.

The core responsibility of a Service Valet is to collect trash and recycling bags directly from residents’ doorsteps within various apartment complexes and transport them safely to the on-site trash compactor. Importantly, this job does not entail heavy lifting of bulk items, driving off-site, or dumping duties, making it more accessible for individuals who prefer to avoid strenuous handling beyond manageable bagged waste. The role incorporates the use of a mobile app, which employees use to log service details including arrival and departure times, tracking, and documenting instances of non-compliance with photo evidence.

This position requires active engagement in walking the property, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in different weather conditions, which contributes to staying physically active.
