Job Description
Valet Living is a leading service provider specializing in creating clean and welcoming apartment communities by offering efficient and reliable trash collection services. The company is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction through its team-oriented approach, strong work ethic, and commitment to community welfare. Valet Living’s innovative approach integrates technology with hands-on services, providing employees with modern tools to carry out their duties effectively, such as using a mobile app to track their work in real-time. The company prioritizes safety and inclusivity, offering reasonable accommodations for applicants with disabilities and commitments to equal employment opportunities across various demographics.
Valet Living is currently seeking part-time Trash Collectors, also known as Service Valets, who are energetic, dependable, and looking for a job that keeps them active while earning extra income. This role primarily involves walking through apartment communities to collect trash and recycling bags from residents’ doorsteps and transporting them to an on-site compactor. Unlike traditional waste removal jobs, this position requires no heavy lifting of bulky items, no off-site driving, and no dumping, making it an accessible and manageable part-time opportunity.
This hands-on role demands physical stamina and the willingness to work outdoors in different weather conditions as you walk the property and climb stairs. Each Service Valet uses the company’s proprietary mobile app on a smartphone to log important service details like arrival times, departures, progress tracking, and capturing photos for non-compliance issues. The part-time schedule typically involves evening shifts from Sunday to Thursday, generally starting between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM, with about 10 to 15 hours per week. Notably, Valet Living strives to assign work locations close to the employee’s home, enhancing convenience and reducing commute time.
Compensation starts at $20 per hour, making it an attractive opportunity for individuals seeking supplementary earning options with a flexible schedule. Beyond pay, this role offers multiple advantages including daily pay access via DailyPay, opportunities for career advancement into leadership roles, referral bonuses, and a workplace culture that emphasizes safety by providing necessary protective gear like gloves and vests. This position is ideal for candidates who want to stay active, work in a supportive environment, and contribute positively to their community. Valet Living values diversity and inclusion, ensuring equal opportunities and accommodations for all employees and applicants. If you are at least 18 years old, authorized to work in the U.S., and enjoy a physically active job with flexible evening hours, this part-time Trash Collector role could be the perfect fit for you.
