Job Description

Valet Living is a well-established company specializing in providing essential services to apartment communities with a focus on improving the living environment and overall community satisfaction. Known for its commitment to reliability, community enhancement, and a supportive workplace culture, Valet Living hires individuals who are motivated to contribute positively to the communities they serve. As a recognized leader in property services, the company offers roles that combine physical activity with flexible scheduling, making it an attractive employer for people seeking part-time work with a meaningful impact. Valet Living embraces diversity and inclusivity, ensuring equal opportunity employment for individuals from various backgrounds. They provide accommodations for applicants with disabilities, underscoring their dedication to fair and accessible hiring practices.

The role of a part-time Trash Collector, also known as a Service Valet, at Valet Living is designed for individuals who enjoy an active work environment while earning extra income. This position involves collecting trash and recycling bags directly from residents' doorsteps within apartment communities and transporting them to designated onsite compactors. Importantly, candidates will not be required to lift bulky items, drive off-site, or manage the disposal process themselves, making the job focused and contained within the property. The job is physically engaging, involving walking long distances, climbing stairs, and working outdoors regardless of weather conditions. Employees utilize a mobile app to log service details such as arrival and departure times, tracking, and to capture non-compliance photos, integrating technology with physical work.

The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging between $15 and $18 for evening shifts that typically run from Sunday to Thursday starting at 7 or 8 PM. It is classified as part-time, requiring about 10 to 15 hours or more per week, which offers a perfect schedule for individuals seeking supplemental income outside of traditional 9-to-5 hours. The company makes efforts to assign workers to properties near their homes, enhancing convenience and reducing commute times. Valet Living provides safety gear including gloves and vests, emphasizing a safe and hazard-aware environment.

This job is particularly well suited for those who value physical activity during work hours and are looking for a flexible schedule that fits into their lifestyle. The company fosters opportunities for career advancement, allowing motivated employees to progress into leadership roles. Other perks include the use of DailyPay for fast access to earnings and referral bonuses to reward employees who bring friends and acquaintances onto the team. Valet Living’s supportive approach to employment and community service makes this an excellent opportunity for dependable individuals eager to make a difference in their local communities while maintaining an active, healthy routine.
