Job Description

Valet Living is a dynamic service company specializing in enhancing apartment community living through exceptional cleanliness and resident support services. Recognized for its commitment to creating welcoming and well-maintained residential environments, Valet Living serves apartment complexes by providing essential services that focus on convenience and community care. This company is known for its innovative use of technology to streamline its operations and improve service quality. With a strong emphasis on employee wellness and work-life balance, Valet Living offers part-time opportunities suited for those looking for active roles that can fit around other commitments.

Valet Living is currently hiring part-time Trash Collectors, also known as Service Valets, to join their team and maintain the cleanliness and appeal of apartment communities. This role involves collecting trash and recycling bags from residents' doorsteps and transporting them to on-site trash compactors. It is a physically engaging job that requires walking, stair climbing, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Importantly, the job does not involve heavy lifting of bulk items, off-site driving, or dumping, which makes it accessible to a wide range of candidates. The position includes the use of a mobile application to log service details such as arrival and departure times, tracking, and compliance photos, integrating technology with daily duties.

This part-time opportunity offers a competitive pay rate starting at $20 per hour, with additional earning potential for those who have their own truck or trailer. The working schedule is primarily in the evenings, from Sunday to Thursday, with shifts typically starting at 7:00 or 8:00 PM, and Sundays being mandatory. Employees can expect to work approximately 10 to 15 hours or more per week. An appealing feature of this job is its proximity to employees' homes, as Valet Living strives to assign tasks that are close to where team members live, minimizing commute time and boosting convenience.

Candidates for this position must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S. They should have a smartphone with a data plan to use the company's app effectively. While having a personal pickup truck or a vehicle with a trailer is preferred, it is not mandatory, and possessing a valid driver's license and current auto insurance is also preferred. Physically, the role requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, walk long distances, climb stairs multiple times during a shift, and be comfortable handling bagged trash and waste. The job demands adaptability to working outdoors in all weather conditions, making it suitable for individuals who enjoy an active, hands-on job.

Working at Valet Living offers a unique blend of benefits including a flexible schedule that accommodates personal commitments, daily pay access through DailyPay, and opportunities for career growth into leadership positions. The company also values safety, providing necessary gear such as gloves and vests to ensure employee well-being. Referral bonuses add a community-oriented incentive to bring like-minded individuals onto the team. Valet Living is an Equal Opportunity Employer that embraces diversity and provides reasonable accommodations for applicants with disabilities, demonstrating a commitment to inclusive hiring practices.

This role is perfect for individuals seeking a part-time position that keeps them physically active while earning extra income in the evenings. Whether you're looking for a job close to home or a way to make a positive impact in your community, Valet Living offers a supportive environment with tools and resources to succeed. If you are reliable, enjoy working outdoors, and want to join a team that values dedication and service quality, consider applying for the Trash Collector position today. The application process is ongoing, underscoring the company’s continuous need for motivated team members ready to contribute to maintaining cleaner, more welcoming apartment communities.
