Job Description

Valet Living is a reputable service company specializing in providing essential waste management and cleaning services specifically tailored for apartment communities. Known for fostering clean, inviting, and well-maintained residential environments, Valet Living has developed a reputation for reliability and community focus. The company prides itself on partnering with property management teams to enhance resident satisfaction through consistent, friendly, and efficient service. Operating nationwide, Valet Living emphasizes a supportive atmosphere for its employees, offering flexible part-time work options for those seeking supplemental income. They foster a culture of respect, teamwork, and community involvement, making it an appealing workplace for individuals looking to contribute meaningfully while maintaining a flexible schedule.

The role of a part-time Trash Collector, also known as a Service Valet, entails a physically active and engaging position that helps ensure apartment communities remain clean and welcoming. This is a hands-on role requiring candidates to collect trash and recycling bags placed at residents' doorsteps and transport them to an on-site compactor. Importantly, this position excludes heavy lifting of bulk items, off-site driving, or waste dumping, making it accessible for those who want a part-time job with manageable physical demands. Valet Living leverages modern technology by requiring employees to use a smartphone app for logging service details such as arrival, departure, and compliance tracking, which streamlines operational efficiency.

Offering a competitive pay rate starting at $20 per hour, this part-time position generally involves 10 to 15 hours per week, primarily during evening shifts from Sunday through Thursday, starting at 7 or 8 PM with mandatory Sunday availability. The company strives to assign work shifts close to the employee’s home, enhancing convenience and reducing commute stress. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy staying active while earning extra income and prefer a job that fits around their lifestyle. Furthermore, Valet Living fosters career advancement with opportunities to grow into leadership roles, making this position not just a job but a potential stepping stone for those seeking long-term engagement. Employees benefit from a safe working environment supported by provided gloves, vests, and necessary gear, ensuring health and safety standards are met. The company also supports diversity, equal opportunity, and accessibility, including accommodating individuals with disabilities throughout the recruitment and employment process. Overall, this position offers a meaningful and flexible way for motivated individuals to contribute to community well-being while enjoying competitive pay and supportive work conditions.
