Job Description

Valet Living is a leading provider of residential waste and recycling services dedicated to enhancing apartment communities by keeping them clean and welcoming. The company takes pride in its commitment to delivering exceptional service and fostering a safe and enjoyable environment for residents. As a part-time Trash Collector, also known as a Service Valet, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness of apartment complexes by collecting trash and recycling bags from residents’ doorsteps and transporting them to the designated on-site trash compactors. This role is ideal for individuals seeking flexible evening shifts that fit into their schedule while contributing to community well-being and receiving competitive pay ranging from $20 to $23 per hour.

The position involves physically active duties, including walking throughout the property, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Importantly, this role does not require heavy lifting of bulk items, off-site driving, or dumping of trash. You will utilize a smartphone app provided by the company to log service details, track non-compliance, and document your work efficiently, helping maintain high standards of service and accountability.

In addition to the financial rewards, employees appreciate the opportunity to stay active throughout their shift, work evening hours that accommodate other commitments, and access to fast pay via DailyPay, which allows for quick access to earned wages. The company also emphasizes career development with opportunities for advancement into leadership roles, referral bonuses, and a strong focus on safety by providing gloves, vests, and other protective gear.

Valet Living is deeply committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, offering equal employment opportunities to all individuals without regard to race, religion, age, gender identity, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristic. The company is supportive of individuals with disabilities and makes reasonable accommodations during the recruitment process to ensure everyone has a chance to succeed.

As a Part-Time Trash Collector with Valet Living, you will contribute to a team that values hard work, reliability, and making a positive difference in the community. The role involves roughly 10 to 15 hours per week, primarily during evening shifts from Sunday to Thursday, starting at 7:00 or 8:00 PM. Assignments are usually close to home whenever possible, minimizing commute time and maximizing convenience for employees. This role is perfect for those who want to supplement their income while staying physically active and engaged with their community.

Join the Valet Living team and experience the satisfaction of meaningful work that not only keeps residential communities clean but also fosters a welcoming atmosphere for residents.
