Job Description

Valet Living is a reputable service company specializing in providing essential residential cleaning and maintenance services to apartment communities. Established with a mission to enhance the living experience for residents by maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments, Valet Living has built a strong reputation across the US for its commitment to quality, safety, and exceptional service. The company emphasizes respect for residents' privacy and strives to deliver consistent, reliable services that add value to property communities.

Valet Living is currently seeking part-time Trash Collectors (Service Valets) to join their team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy an active, hands-on position that combines physical activity with a meaningful contribution to the neighborhood. As a part-time Trash Collector, you will play an integral role in helping maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of apartment complexes by collecting residents' trash and recycling bags from their doorsteps and transporting them to on-site trash compactors. The work is primarily conducted in the evenings and requires traversing the property, climbing stairs, and enduring various weather conditions.

This part-time position offers flexibility with a commitment of around 10-15 hours per week, mainly during Sunday through Thursday evening shifts starting at 7:00 or 8:00 p.m., with Sundays being mandatory. Starting pay is competitive at $17 per hour, allowing employees a chance to earn supplementary income while staying physically active. The company prioritizes assigning employees to locations close to their homes to minimize commute times and build familiarity with the community.

The job involves the use of a mobile app on a smartphone to log service details such as arrivals, departures, tracking, and non-compliance photos, integrating technology with fieldwork to ensure accuracy and accountability. Additionally, no heavy lifting beyond 50 pounds or off-site driving and dumping is required, making the role manageable yet engaging.

Valet Living values safety and provides all necessary protective gear, including gloves and vests, to support employees in performing their duties securely. The company fosters a supportive culture emphasizing reliability, hard work, and community engagement. Valet Living also encourages career growth opportunities, offering pathways to leadership roles for motivated staff, and provides exciting benefits such as daily pay access through DailyPay and referral bonuses for introducing new members to the team.

Accommodations for applicants with disabilities are available, reflecting Valet Living’s commitment to equal opportunity and inclusive hiring practices. They actively recruit, hire, train, and promote without discrimination, ensuring a diverse and welcoming workplace environment.

If you are at least 18 years old, legally authorized to work in the US, possess a smartphone with a data plan, and preferably have a personal vehicle or truck along with a valid driver’s license and auto insurance, this position might be a perfect fit to earn extra income while staying active and connected to your local community. The role demands physical fitness to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, walk long distances, climb stairs, and comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions around bagged trash and waste.

Join Valet Living and become part of a team dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in residential apartment communities. Apply today and take the first step toward a flexible, rewarding part-time career with room for growth and numerous perks along the way.
