Job Description

Valet Living is a leading service provider dedicated to enhancing the living experience within apartment communities. Known for its commitment to exceptional customer service and innovative solutions, Valet Living specializes in offering valet trash and recycling collection, package delivery, and other hospitality-driven services to residential complexes across the United States. The company prides itself on fostering a work environment that values diversity, inclusiveness, and the well-being of its employees, offering flexible job opportunities designed to accommodate varied lifestyles while promoting a strong sense of community involvement.

This part-time position as a Trash Collector (Service Valet) offers a unique opportunity for individuals seeking an active role that combines physical activity with community engagement. Trash Collectors play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and appeal of apartment communities by collecting trash and recycling from residents' doorsteps and transporting it safely to the on-site trash compactor. The role is designed to avoid heavy lifting of bulk items, off-site driving, or dumping, making it manageable and safe while ensuring the community remains welcoming and tidy.

The shift typically involves working during the evening hours from Sunday through Thursday, either starting at 7:00 PM or 8:00 PM, with part-time hours averaging 10 to 15 hours or more each week. Valet Living prioritizes convenience, aiming to assign personnel to nearby properties to minimize commute distances. Pay ranges from $16 to $19 per hour, reflecting Valet Living's commitment to competitive compensation for committed team members.

In addition to physical activities such as walking, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions, this role involves leveraging technology through the company's mobile app. Service Valets utilize their smartphones to log service details including arrival and departure times, track routes, and capture photos for non-compliance or service verification. This blend of hands-on work and digital reporting supports operational efficiency and service quality.

Beyond the day-to-day tasks, working as a Valet Living Trash Collector offers distinct benefits. Employees enjoy flexible scheduling that fits well with other commitments, the chance to stay physically active on the job, and quick access to earnings through a Fast Pay system with DailyPay. There are also career advancement opportunities for those interested in progressing within the company, including leadership roles. Safety is paramount; Valet Living provides necessary protective gear such as gloves and vests to ensure employee well-being.

The company is committed to equal employment opportunities and strives to create a welcoming, inclusive workplace free from discrimination based on race, gender, age, or other protected characteristics. Additionally, Valet Living is proactive in accommodating individuals with disabilities throughout the hiring process, offering support and adjustments as required. This part-time Trash Collector position is ideal for motivated individuals who appreciate a physically engaging, community-oriented job that also offers flexibility and professional growth.
