This role requires candidates to have personal and reliable open-bed pickup trucks or vehicles capable of hauling trailers. The Trash Collector position is physically active and involves walking the property, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in all weather conditions. The job centers around collecting trash from doorsteps within apartment communities and transporting it to the on-site trash compactor — importantly, this role does not involve heavy lifting of bulk items, off-site driving, or dumping.

Trash Collectors use Valet Living's mobile app to log service details such as arrival, departure times, tracking, and non-compliance photos. This role offers flexibility, typically providing 10 to 15 hours of work weekly during daytime shifts from Sunday to Thursday starting at 8:00 AM, with some locations offering slightly later start times. Pay ranges from $17 to $20 per hour, offering employees a competitive wage for part-time work. Assignments are generally close to the employee's home to minimize commute time.
