Currently, Valet Living is seeking dependable part-time Trash Collectors (Service Valets) to join its team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy physical activity, prefer working outdoors, and want a flexible schedule that provides supplemental income. The position requires candidates to have a personal and reliable open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle capable of hauling a trailer, along with valid driver’s license and auto insurance. Operating within apartment communities, Service Valets will be responsible for collecting trash and recycling bags placed by residents at their doorsteps and transporting these materials to on-site trash compactors. Notably, the job does not involve heavy lifting of bulk items, driving off-site, or dumping, allowing for a manageable and straightforward workflow.

This hands-on position demands physical stamina as it involves walking long distances, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in varied weather conditions. Valet Living equips every Service Valet with a mobile app used for logging service details, which includes tracking arrivals and departures, as well as capturing photos for tracking and compliance purposes. This integration of technology helps maintain efficient communication and accountability while on duty.

The role offers daytime shifts, typically five days a week from Sunday to Thursday, starting at 8:00 AM, though some locations may have varied start times. With approximately 10 to 15 plus hours per week, this job provides a perfect balance for those seeking part-time employment. Compensation is offered at an hourly rate ranging from $17 to $20, delivering immediate value for time invested.
