Bowman Gray Stadium, a historic and beloved venue within the NASCAR family, is currently seeking a part-time Track Communications Coordinator. This role is perfectly tailored for individuals who thrive in a vibrant, fast-paced live-event setting where communication, coordination, and execution are crucial. The Track Communications Coordinator will collaborate closely with event partners and fans to deliver seamless information and enhance the fan experience during race events.

This position encompasses a wide range of duties, including the creation and distribution of event schedules, managing public address announcements, coordinating program edits and distribution, and supporting sponsorship activations and sales outreach. Based at Bowman Gray Stadium, the coordinator will play a vital role in event day operations, greeting and engaging with diverse stakeholders to ensure smooth execution. The role also involves practical responsibilities such as handling hospitality sales, coordinating catering and suite setup, and managing media elements like scoreboard playlists and graphic requests.

Ideal candidates will bring at least two years of communications experience, ideally within the sports industry, along with excellent organizational and writing skills. Proficiency with company-provided hardware and software, a valid driver’s license, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends during the racing season are essential. This collaborative position demands a proactive individual who is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • assist with creation and distribution of weekly schedules of events
  • support opening ceremonies planning and execution
  • manage public address (PA) announcements, T-shirt shoot reads, and concourse display information
  • coordinate program editing, proofreading, and distribution
  • prepare announcements and scorer driver labels
  • support sponsorship activations, renewals, and sales outreach
  • assist with AR collections related to sponsorship accounts
  • prepare sponsorship contracts and related documentation
  • coordinate hospitality sales, reservations, parking permits, and pass mailings
  • oversee weekly catering needs and suite setup
  • maintain balcony reservation lists
  • prepare and send sponsor thank-you letters
  • manage scoreboard playlist updates and graphic requests
  • coordinate prizes, fan promotional items, and in-program features
