Job Qualifications

  • associate degree preferred
  • two years of related customer service and sales experience preferred
  • two years of related inventory control experience preferred
  • professional verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel with ability to learn new software programs quickly
  • excellent time management and multi-tasking skills and attention to detail
  • self-motivated and willing to assume responsibilities without constant supervision
  • ability to examine data, draw conclusions, and solve problems

Job Duties

  • assist with processing store orders by checking orders, locating, and extracting merchandise from shelves and storage areas, packing/assembling orders, scanning, and labeling packages
  • ensure accuracy and completeness of orders packed and shipped
  • assist in receiving and arrange inventory deliveries of merchandise or supplies into their designated storage areas
  • inspect inventory for damage, flaws, and irregularities upon delivery
  • assist with all organizational shipping and fulfillment needs
  • prepare for yearly convention by sorting, labeling, and packing selected items
  • assist with membership packet fulfillment process, including processing packets for bulk mail shipment
  • assist with inventory reconciliation
  • provide daily maintenance of department and organizational needs
  • process weekly mailing of Advisor Edge pins
  • provide high quality customer service by packaging and handling pick-up orders for walk-in customers
  • support implementation of the strategic plan
