Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
  • a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
  • ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
  • ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store regularly
  • ability to stock merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds on shelves at various heights (stocker)
  • ability to comply with company cash handling policies
  • effective communication skills

  • ability to perform general cleaning duties to company standards

  • must have morning availability for morning shifts starting as early as 5:00 a.m. (stocker)

Job Duties

  • Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to direct leader
  • upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility
  • processes customer purchases and performs general cleaning duties
  • stocks shelves and merchandise displays neatly
  • provides exceptional customer service and assists customers with their shopping experience
  • provides feedback to management on products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and general issues
  • participates in taking store inventory counts and monitors inventory accuracy
  • adheres to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
  • stocks shelves and rotates product properly to guarantee fresh availability
  • follows merchandising planograms to create excellently merchandised displays
  • organizes new inventory and removes and breaks down empty boxes
  • operates machinery and follows all safety procedures
