Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge

Job Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older
Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
Ability to perform general cleaning duties to company standards
Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures
Excellent verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Effective time management skills
Knowledge of company products and services
Cashier role requires ability to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately
Cashier role requires compliance with state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
Stocker role requires ability to operate equipment safely
Stockers must have morning availability and be able to work early shifts

Job Duties

Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to direct leader
Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility
Performs duties with or without reasonable accommodation
Processes customer purchases
Performs general cleaning duties
Stocks shelves and merchandise displays neatly
Provides exceptional customer service
Assists customers with their shopping experience
Provides feedback to management on products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and general issues
Participates in store inventory counts and monitors inventory accuracy
Adheres to cash policies and procedures
Stocks shelves and rotates product properly
Follows merchandising planograms
Organizes new inventory and breaks down empty boxes
Operates machinery safely including electric/manual hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler
Maintains physical stamina by sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking
Performs stocking of merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds at various heights
