Job Duties
- Assist in men's, women's, and youth shoe areas
- be proactive in communicating with the Specialty Shop Manager and team to understand urgent needs
- select shoes from backstock and place them in staging area for sales associates
- return unpurchased shoes to correct backstock areas
- assist customer service with shoe return processing and return items to sales floor
- keep product organized to eliminate clutter and maintain accurate inventory records
- initiate warm and welcoming interactions with customers
- maintain a smooth flow of service to minimize customer wait times
- be organized and multi-task while maintaining all aspects of the Shoe Runner role
- work independently and with the team
- demonstrate strong oral and written communication and presentation skills
- apply basic instructions given in written, oral, or diagram form
- demonstrate attention to detail
- maintain a professional appearance and attitude
- contribute to a positive team atmosphere and treat others with respect
- be willing to perform other tasks assigned by leadership and merchandiser leads
- work assigned schedule including varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays
