Job Description

Valet Living is a renowned company dedicated to enhancing community living by providing essential services that keep neighborhoods clean, safe, and welcoming. As a leading service provider in property management and community services, Valet Living operates with a mission to deliver outstanding customer service through hard work, commitment, and respect for the environment. Valet Living values diversity and inclusivity, ensuring equal opportunity employment while fostering a supportive and dynamic workplace for all its team members.

This is a part-time opportunity for individuals seeking a role that combines physical activity with meaningful impact. The position of Trash Collector, also known as Service Valet, plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of residential communities. As a Trash Collector, you will be responsible for collecting bagged trash directly from the residents’ doorsteps and transporting it to on-site dumpsters or compactors using your own reliable vehicle, such as an open-bed pickup truck or a trailer-equipped vehicle. This role requires a high level of physical endurance and mental toughness since the work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions—rain, shine, cold, or heat.

Candidates who thrive in active roles and enjoy staying physically engaged will find this job fulfilling. The position typically involves evening shifts from Sunday through Thursday, starting around 7:00 or 8:00 PM, offering a flexible schedule perfect for students, individuals pursuing side hustles, or those seeking secondary employment. The average hourly rate ranges from $19 to $23, making it a great option to earn extra cash while remaining physically fit.

Valet Living prioritizes safety by providing necessary protective gear, including gloves and safety vests, ensuring that every team member is equipped to perform their duties securely. The company also supports career progression opportunities, allowing successful employees to move into supervisory or management roles. Additionally, referral bonuses incentivize team members to bring others into this rewarding work environment.

To excel in this role, candidates must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid driver’s license and auto insurance naming them as a covered driver, and be authorized to work in the United States. A smartphone with a data plan is required to use the company’s mobile application, which facilitates communication and coordination during shifts.

Valet Living’s commitment to equality extends to providing reasonable accommodations for applicants with disabilities throughout the hiring process. This ensures that all potential team members have an equal and fair chance to join the workforce and contribute meaningfully.

In summary, joining Valet Living as a part-time Trash Collector means becoming part of a team that delivers real impact through tough work, commitment, and community care. This role offers a competitive pay rate, flexible hours, and the chance to work close to home, all while keeping active and involved in the local community.
