Job Description
Valet Living is a reputable company specializing in providing exceptional property services to residential communities. With a strong commitment to enhancing the living experience within apartment communities, Valet Living focuses on maintaining cleanliness, order, and a welcoming environment for residents. The company is known for its reliability, professionalism, and dedication to customer satisfaction, making it a preferred service provider in the industry.
Valet Living is currently offering a part-time position for Trash Collectors, also known as Service Valets. This role is ideal for individuals seeking flexible evening work schedules that allow them to earn extra income while staying active. The position involves collecting trash and recycling bags from residents' doorsteps within apartment communities and transporting them to on-site trash compactors using an open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle hauling a trailer.
This job does not require heavy lifting of bulk items, off-site driving, or dumping, which makes it a manageable and straightforward role focused on maintaining property cleanliness. The use of Valet Living's proprietary mobile app enables employees to log service details such as arrival and departure times, tracking information, and non-compliance photos, enhancing communication and operational efficiency. Employees in this position benefit from a close-to-home assignment approach, typically working evening shifts from Sunday through Thursday, making it convenient for those looking to balance other commitments.
The position starts at $20 per hour and requires around 10 to 15 hours of work per week. This opportunity is well-suited for individuals aged 18 or older who have reliable transportation in the form of an open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle with a trailer. A valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and authorization to work in the U.S. are mandatory. The job is physically active and involves walking, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions, demanding a good level of physical fitness and stamina.
Valet Living places a strong emphasis on safety, providing gloves, vests, and other necessary gear to ensure a secure working environment. Employees also have access to benefits like fast pay options through DailyPay, career growth opportunities that can lead to leadership roles, and referral bonuses. The company values diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity, making it a supportive workplace for people from all backgrounds. Candidates needing accommodations during the recruiting process due to disabilities can reach out via a dedicated e-mail for assistance.
Overall, this part-time Trash Collector role with Valet Living offers a unique blend of active work, flexible scheduling, and competitive pay. It's an excellent choice for anyone seeking a reliable part-time job that contributes positively to community cleanliness and resident satisfaction. If you have the required vehicle and enjoy a dynamic outdoor work environment, this could be a rewarding employment opportunity that fits your lifestyle and financial goals.
