Job Description

Valet Living is an established leader in the property services industry, specializing in providing high-quality and reliable amenities tailored to apartment communities across the United States. The company focuses on delivering services that enhance the living experience of residents while helping property managers maintain clean, safe, and welcoming environments. With a reputation built on reliability and customer satisfaction, Valet Living operates with a strong commitment to service excellence and employee well-being. As an Equal Opportunity Employer, the company fosters diversity and inclusivity in its workforce and ensures fair treatment and equal opportunity for all employees regardless of background. Valet Living values individuals who are hardworking, dependable, and eager to contribute positively to the community.

The role of a part-time Trash Collector, also known as a Service Valet, is integral to maintaining the cleanliness and overall appeal of apartment communities serviced by Valet Living. This position is designed for individuals seeking part-time work with flexible evening hours, typically Sunday through Thursday, starting at 7:00 or 8:00 PM, offering a competitive starting pay of $20 per hour. The hours available usually range between 10 to 15+ hours per week, making it an ideal opportunity for those who want to supplement their income with a job that keeps them physically active.

As a Service Valet, you will have a hands-on role that involves collecting trash and recycling bags directly from residents' doorsteps within apartment complexes. You'll be responsible for transporting these bags to the on-site trash compactor using your personal vehicle, which must be an open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle equipped with a trailer. Importantly, this job does not require heavy lifting of bulk items, driving off-site, or dumping, which simplifies the workflow while keeping it engaging. Utilizing Valet Living’s proprietary mobile application via a smartphone, you will log service details such as arrival and departure times, track routes, and capture photos for compliance documentation. This technology makes the job efficient, organized, and transparent.

The job demands physical activity, including walking around properties, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. It is suitable for individuals who enjoy staying active and working independently within their assigned communities. Valet Living also prioritizes the safety and comfort of their Service Valets by providing gloves, vests, and other necessary gear to ensure safe operation during shifts. The company not only values the hard work and reliability of its employees but also offers opportunities for career growth and leadership advancement for those interested in progressing within the organization. Moreover, referral bonuses are available to encourage team building and reward current employees for bringing in new talent.

This position emphasizes community engagement through maintaining clean and inviting living spaces for residents and promotes a positive work environment with a supportive team behind you. Valet Living understands the importance of close-to-home assignments, making efforts to assign you to properties near your residence, which helps reduce commute times and improves work-life balance. With fast pay options such as DailyPay, employees can access their earnings quickly, enhancing financial flexibility and satisfaction. This continuing hiring process welcomes applicants who meet the basic criteria, including age, vehicle requirements, and legal eligibility to work in the United States, ensuring a smooth and accessible application process for motivated individuals. Join Valet Living as a part-time Trash Collector to contribute directly to community cleanliness while enjoying a rewarding, active, and flexible job.
