Job Description
Valet Living is a company dedicated to enhancing the living experience for residents in apartment communities across the United States. As a leader in residential property services, Valet Living specializes in providing top-notch amenities such as trash collection, package delivery, and community beautification. The company's mission is to create clean, safe, and welcoming environments that promote comfort and convenience for apartment residents. With a strong focus on customer service and operational excellence, Valet Living prides itself on its commitment to quality and care in every property it serves.
Currently, Valet Living is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as part-time Trash Collectors, also known as Service Valets. This role involves ensuring apartment communities remain clean and inviting by collecting trash and recycling bags from residents’ doorsteps and transporting them to on-site trash compactors. This position is ideal for individuals looking for part-time employment with a flexible schedule and the opportunity to stay physically active while earning extra income.
The part-time Trash Collector position offers evening shifts from Sunday through Thursday, generally starting at 7:00 or 8:00 PM, with around 10 to 15 or more hours per week. The pay rate ranges from $16 to $19 per hour, making it a competitive wage for part-time work. Additionally, Valet Living prioritizes the convenience of employees by assigning work close to their homes whenever possible.
The role is hands-on and physically engaging, requiring walking throughout the property, climbing stairs repeatedly, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Unlike other trash collection jobs, this position does not require lifting heavy bulk items, driving off-site, or dumping waste at landfills. Instead, employees collect bagged trash and recyclables and use a mobile app to log service details such as arrival times, departure times, and photos for service verification.
To qualify for this position, applicants should be at least 18 years old, authorized to work in the U.S., and capable of physical activity including lifting up to 50 pounds and walking long distances. A smartphone with a data plan is necessary to utilize the company’s mobile app. Preference is given to candidates who own a personal pickup truck or vehicle with a trailer and hold a valid driver’s license along with current auto insurance.
Valet Living fosters a supportive work environment that values diversity, hard work, and reliability. Employees benefit from safety equipment such as gloves and vests to ensure their well-being while on the job. The company also offers opportunities for career advancement into leadership roles, making this not just a job but a potential stepping stone toward a rewarding career. Referral bonuses provide additional earning potential by encouraging team-building through recommendations.
Joining Valet Living means becoming part of a team committed to making a positive impact in the communities they serve. The job allows employees to stay active while working, offers a flexible evening schedule perfect for balancing other responsibilities, and ensures quick access to earned wages through DailyPay. Candidates interested in contributing to community cleanliness and working in a dynamic, people-focused company are encouraged to apply. Valet Living is an Equal Opportunity Employer dedicated to providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities throughout the hiring process.
