Job Description

Valet Living is a reputable service provider dedicated to enhancing the quality and cleanliness of apartment communities across various regions. As a company focused on residential community services, Valet Living has built a strong reputation by offering reliable and professional trash collection and valet services that help maintain a clean, welcoming environment for residents. The company places a high value on diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity employment, making it a positive workplace for employees from all backgrounds. Valet Living fosters a culture of safety, respect, and career development, offering a variety of roles that support community wellbeing.

This particular opportunity is for part-time Trash Collectors, also known as Service Valets, who play a critical role in the upkeep of apartment complexes by collecting residents' trash and recycling bags and bringing them to on-site compactors. This position requires a personal and reliable open-bed pickup truck or vehicle with a trailer, making it essential for candidates to have dependable transportation. The role is hands-on and physically active, involving walking, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Valet Living makes efficient use of technology by requiring employees to use a mobile app for logging service details such as arrival and departure times, tracking progress, and capturing photos of non-compliance.

The work schedule consists primarily of evening shifts, usually from 7:00 PM Sunday through Thursday, and offers approximately 10 to 12 hours of work weekly, making it an ideal job for someone seeking supplemental income during convenient hours. Hourly pay varies based on whether the employee uses their vehicle for transportation and hauling, with helper pay set at $20 per hour and truck/trailer pay at $23 per hour. Valet Living strives to assign employees to locations near their homes, reducing commute times and improving the work-life balance.

Beyond pay and schedule, Valet Living promotes a safe and supportive work environment. Employees are provided with necessary safety gear such as gloves and vests to protect them while on duty. The company also encourages professional development by offering pathways to leadership positions to those who demonstrate commitment and leadership skills. Additionally, team members can benefit from referral bonuses when they help bring new employees to the company.

For individuals who value active work and flexible scheduling, this role provides an opportunity to earn extra income while staying physically engaged. The unique combination of outdoor activity, community impact, and competitive pay makes this position a strong match for people seeking part-time work without the constraints of traditional office settings. Valet Living's commitment to accessibility further ensures that all applicants, including those with disabilities, will receive reasonable accommodations during the hiring process.

With a continuous application window, this role is accessible for those ready to join a team that values hard work, reliability, and genuine community involvement. Being a part of Valet Living means actively contributing to cleaner, healthier living environments while enjoying benefits like fast pay through DailyPay and close-to-home assignments. Prospective employees will find this position fulfilling both physically and financially, supported by an employer that prioritizes employee wellbeing and diversity.
