Job Description
Valet Living is a reputable company specializing in property management services with a focus on maintaining cleanliness and enhancing the living experience within apartment communities. As a service-oriented business, Valet Living has built a strong presence in the industry by delivering efficient, reliable, and customer-friendly solutions. The company is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment, providing opportunities for career growth, and valuing the contributions of every team member. Equipped with modern technology and a dedicated workforce, Valet Living continues to expand its operations and elevate community living standards.
This opportunity is for part-time Trash Collectors, also known as Service Valets, who play a critical role in keeping apartment communities clean and welcoming. The position involves collecting trash and recycling bags directly from residents' doorsteps and transporting them to the property's on-site trash compactor. Using an open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle hauling a trailer, valets ensure the safe and efficient handling of waste without the need for heavy lifting of bulky items or off-site dumping. Candidates will utilize a mobile app to log service activities, including arrival and departure times, tracking, and photographic evidence of any non-compliance.
The role is physically active and requires walking throughout the property, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in all weather conditions. Scheduled evening shifts from Sunday through Thursday provide flexibility and a great way to earn supplemental income. With pay set at $18 per hour and flexible hours averaging 10 to 15+ hours per week, the job suits those who want additional income while maintaining an active lifestyle.
Valet Living emphasizes safety by providing personal protective equipment such as gloves and vests, and it supports employees with daily pay options and referral bonuses. The company prioritizes career advancement opportunities and welcomes individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and eager to make a positive impact in their communities. Potential employees must have reliable transportation consisting of an open-bed pickup truck or vehicle with a trailer, a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a smartphone with a data plan to use the company’s app.
The application process is ongoing, and Valet Living fosters a respectful workplace free from discrimination based on a variety of protected characteristics including race, religion, gender identity, and disability. Reasonable accommodations during the recruitment process are available for those who need them, reflecting the company's commitment to equal opportunity and inclusion. This position presents an excellent chance to stay active, earn extra income, and join a supportive team dedicated to improving community living environments.
