Job Description
Valet Living is a leading service company specializing in community valet services that help maintain cleanliness and enhance the living experience for residents in apartment communities across the United States. Established with a commitment to excellence and reliability, Valet Living focuses on providing dedicated, personalized service to ensure that apartment complexes remain inviting and well-kept. The company prides itself on fostering a strong team environment and values diversity, promoting equal employment opportunities to all qualified candidates without regard to race, religion, gender, or other protected statuses. With a reputation for dependable service and innovative solutions, Valet Living continues to expand its footprint and community impact through its attentive service approach.
Currently, Valet Living is hiring part-time Trash Collectors, also known as Service Valets, to join their team. This role is ideal for individuals seeking a physically active part-time job that offers flexibility and the opportunity to earn extra income. Service Valets are responsible for collecting trash and recycling bags from residents' doorsteps inside apartment communities and transporting them to on-site disposal areas using a personal reliable open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle with a trailer. This position requires no heavy lifting of bulk items or off-site driving, ensuring a manageable workload tailored to those who enjoy being outdoors and engaging with the community.
The role involves utilizing Valet Living's proprietary mobile app on a smartphone to log various service activities such as arrival and departure times, tracking, and capturing non-compliance photos to maintain high service standards and accountability. Service Valets work evening shifts, typically Sunday through Thursday, starting between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM, and work approximately 10 to 15 hours per week. The company strives to assign workers to properties close to their homes for convenience and ease of commute.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid driver's license and auto insurance that lists them as a covered driver, and be authorized to work in the United States. Essential physical capabilities include lifting up to 50 pounds, walking long distances, climbing stairs multiple times during shifts, and comfort in handling bagged trash outdoors in various weather conditions. Valet Living emphasizes safety by providing gloves, vests, and gear to all employees.
This opportunity is well-suited for individuals looking to stay active during work hours, earn additional income on a flexible schedule, and grow within a company that values hard work and reliability. Employees benefit from fast pay options through DailyPay, potential referral bonuses, and career advancement opportunities. Those interested in making a difference in apartment communities while working in a supportive and safety-conscious environment are encouraged to apply. The application process is ongoing, reflecting the company's continuous demand for motivated and dependable team members.
